BLACKPINK shared an emotional farewell with BLINKs as Jisoo, Lisa, Jennie and Rosé concluded their DEADLINE World Tour. The tour kicked off on July 5, 2025, at Goyang Stadium in South Korea and wrapped up on January 26, 2026, at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium, marking the end of a seven-month journey featuring 33 sold-out stadium shows worldwide. However, Rosé’s heartfelt speech—reflecting on their path from trainees to global icons—sparked speculation that this could be the final time BLACKPINK performed together as OT4, fuelling disbandment rumours.

BLACKPINK wraps up DEADLINE World Tour
The DEADLINE tour took the group to iconic venues such as SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and Stade de France in Paris. The three-night Hong Kong finale alone attracted over 90,000 fans. Emotional backstage moments, with the members consoling one another, further stirred emotions and left fans deeply moved.

Disbandment Speculations
Disbandment rumours around BLACKPINK have been circulating for a while. Certain incidents during the Hong Kong shows, such as claims that Jisoo was allegedly sidelined, fueled speculation that tensions may exist within the group. Fans and netizens took to social media to voice concerns that the members might eventually go their separate ways.

BLINKs React to Rumours
Fans have been taking to X (formerly Twitter) to react to the disbandment rumours. One wrote, “Word on the street is that BLACKPINK is disbanding soon…” while another, noticing the members nearly in tears, said, “My fcking god, they’re actually disbanding and this is their last concert as BLACKPINK.”* Some expressed frustration, like one fan who tweeted, “People saying BLACKPINK’s disbandment is getting closer every day—just let me enjoy their new music!” Another added, “BLACKPINK crying their eyes out on their last show…yeah, the disbandment is imminent.”
One fan wrote, “Why does it feel like a farewell? I’m not ready for this, please.” Another demanded, “Whatever their next steps are, I hope they announce it together, at least live—not through a company statement or pretending nothing is happening. BLINKs deserve that closure.”

Jisoo, Rosé, Lisa, Jennie’s Tearful Goodbye
Before concluding the DEADLINE tour, all four members gathered on stage for an emotional farewell. Rosé shared, “Last night before bed, so many thoughts suddenly flashed through my mind. I thought about our trainee days, calling our moms, and how we became BLACKPINK. We’ve achieved so much, all thanks to BLINKs. There were tough times, but also so many moments worth celebrating together. Thinking about it, the tears just kept flowing.”

She continued, highlighting the upcoming album, “This final show of our BLACKPINK tour was so precious. I truly enjoyed every moment until the very end, and I hope BLINKs could feel our happiness too. Just as Jisoo said, our new song is coming next month, so please look forward to it. Most importantly, BLACKPINK and BLINKs have become my source of strength for the future. I love BLACKPINK so, so much. I hope to be a group that is meaningful to all of you. We forever young.”

OT4’s Solo Careers
Lisa, Jisoo, and Jennie also expressed their gratitude for BLINKs’ love, their voices quivering as they held back tears.

Each member has been building a strong solo career: Jisoo and Lisa have ventured into acting, while Rosé earned a Grammy nomination for her collaboration with Bruno Mars on APT.

BLACKPINK is set to release their new mini-album, Deadline, under YG Entertainment on February 27.
