Governor, Union Minister and Public Representatives to Come Together; Pratheeksha Foundation to Host Onam Celebration in Vasai on September 6

Mumbai: Pratheeksha Foundation’s annual Onam celebration and Pratheeksha Awards ceremony will be held on September 6. Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar will attend the event as the chief guest. The first invitation to the event was formally handed over to the Governor at Raj Bhavan by K. B. Uthammakumar, Chairman of Pratheeksha Foundation.

The celebrations will be held from 10 a.m. at the auditorium of Sabarigiri Ayyappa Temple in Vasai Road West. Union Minister Shripad Naik, Chathannoor MLA G. S. Gopakumar, Palghar MP Dr. Hemant Vishnu Savara, MLAs Rajan Naik, Sneha Dubey, and Pandit Rajendra Gavit, along with Vasai-Virar municipal councillors and other prominent personalities from the social, cultural, and political spheres, will add to the significance of the event.

The celebrations will feature a traditional Kerala-style Onam feast (Onasadya), performances of Kerala’s traditional art forms, and a musical programme. Various committees are actively working to ensure the successful organisation of the event.
