Sharing his experience, Dulquer Salmaan said the song’s emotional depth instantly attracted him to the project. He added that bringing those feelings to life on screen was deeply rewarding and described collaborating with AR Rahman, AR Ameen and Jasleen Royal as creatively enriching. He also noted that the project marked his reunion with Mrunal Thakur after Sita Ramam.
