Pune: Prof. Dr. Prakash Divakaran, a prominent educationist from Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, represented India at the International Leadership Award 2026 held in Thailand, where he also delivered the keynote address. He is currently the Vice Chancellor of Himalayan University, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. He spoke at the international forum attended by prominent leaders, educators, and industry professionals from various countries.

Held under the theme “Honour Leaders, Inspire Excellence, Shape the Future,” the event focused on the importance of value-based leadership, integrity, responsibility, and social service. Prof. Dr. Prakash Divakaran emphasized that true leadership should not be measured merely by positions or personal achievements, but by the positive impact and meaningful change created within society and institutions. He also highlighted the significant role universities play in nurturing responsible leaders and strengthening international collaboration.

The programme was organized in collaboration with Phoenix Global Gold by D & G Holiday Thailand Co. Ltd., represented by Mr. Parvi Jaipinth (Danny Bose). Several prominent personalities, including renowned UK-based singer Dr. Nishi Malhotra, attended the event.
