Vasai: As part of its annual celebrations, the Pratheeksha Foundation will organize a Literary Workshop on Sunday, August 16. The workshop will be held at B.K.S. School, Vasai Road West, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
A cultural conference will also be held as part of the event, with noted writer V. R. Sudheesh attending as the Chief Guest. The function will be presided over by C. P. Krishnakumar, and renowned lyricist Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma and Dr. Sajith Avooreth will also participate.
Poetry and Short Story Writing Competitions
In connection with the workshop, the Foundation has announced Poetry and Short Story Writing Competitions. Entries for the short story competition must be handwritten or typed on only one side of each page and should not exceed 15 pages.
Completed entries should be sent on or before July 30 to:

The winners will receive the following prizes:
- First Prize: ₹5,001 and a Certificate of Merit
- Second Prize: ₹3,001 and a Certificate of Merit
Various committees, convened by Rajendran Kuttoor, A. M. Divakaran, E. Harindranath, Adv. Sheeja Mathew, and Mini Thomas, are coordinating the successful conduct of the event.
