Dr. Shaison P. Ouseph and The Face of the Faceless Represent India at the Global Media Conference

Mumbai: Dr. Shaison P. Ouseph represented India at the SIGNIS World Congress held in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda. He delivered an insightful presentation on the theme “Digital Communication for Peaceful Coexistence and Social Development.” Around 300 media and communication professionals from 40 countries, including leading figures in Christian communications, gathered for the conference.

As part of the congress, The Face of the Faceless, a film directed by Dr. Shaison P. Ouseph, was also screened.

The film has received more than 125 international awards and was also included in the list of films considered for the 2024 Academy Awards (Oscars).

The Face of the Faceless is based on the true-life story of Sister Rani Maria, a Malayali Catholic nun who was murdered while working to empower tribal women and children in some of the most remote regions of India.
