Centre Highlights ‘Viksit Bharat’ Vision Ahead of Republic Day, Focus on Growth and Governance

Ahead of Republic Day 2026, the Central Government renewed focus on its “Viksit Bharat” roadmap, outlining priorities related to economic growth, infrastructure expansion, and citizen-centric governance. Senior leaders stated that the aim is to strengthen India’s development journey through better public service delivery, technology-driven systems, and long-term policy planning.

Officials also emphasised the importance of national unity, social progress, and improved opportunities for youth, including skill development and employment support. The government indicated that upcoming months will see stronger implementation of projects related to transport, digital infrastructure, and welfare initiatives designed to reach wider sections of society.
