Mumbai: The two-day Catholic Congress National Conference, held at the Panvel ARC, concluded successfully, marking a significant milestone for the organisation. The conference brought together 170 delegates from various parts of the country, who deliberated on key issues and adopted important policy decisions and a roadmap for future activities.

The panel discussions, interactive sessions, and seminars held as part of the conference addressed a wide range of pertinent issues. Delegates actively participated in the discussions and engaged with the topics through effective coordination. Glen E. Souza Tiklo, a member of the Central Minority Commission, along with Anoop Antony, Fr. Varghese Vallikkatt, George Kallivayalil, Adv. Biju Parayanilam, Dolfi D’Souza, Saji Varkey, and Dr. K. M. Francis, among others, spoke on various subjects.

During the inaugural session held earlier, Bombay Archbishop Cardinal Oswald Gracias emphasised that new laws should not adversely affect the survival and well-being of communities, adding that denying civil liberties is not befitting of a civilised society.

President Rajeev Kochuparambil, Archbishops Mar Sebastian Vaniyapurackal, Mar Remigiose Inchananiyil, and Mar Joseph Arumachadath, Director Fr. Philip Kaviyil, General Secretary Dr. Josekutty J. Ozhukayil, Benny Antony, Msgr. Cyriac Kumbattu, Treesa Liz Sebastian, and Rajeev Thomas, among others, led various sessions of the conference.
