Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is gearing up to inaugurate its new Digital Hub in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, next month, a move expected to significantly uplift India’s technology ecosystem. The first phase of this expansive tech campus is nearing completion, and state officials have confirmed that it will initially house thousands of professionals working across AI, robotics, aerospace, and advanced research domains.
The hub spans over 94 acres within the Technopark campus, featuring modern office spaces, research labs, and collaboration zones designed to attract both global clients and innovative startups. Once fully operational, the facility could employ up to 21,000 tech professionals, making it one of the largest technology employment centers in southern India.
Officials have highlighted that the TCS hub will foster strong partnerships between industry experts, academic institutions, and emerging tech ventures, encouraging deeper research and development activities in cutting-edge fields.
The project is also expected to boost Kerala’s reputation as a growing deep-tech destination, drawing significant private sector interest and creating new opportunities for local graduates and tech talent.
The hub’s focus on emerging technologies — including AI innovation, cybersecurity, robotics, and aerospace solutions — aligns with India’s broader push toward technological self-reliance and global competitiveness.
TCS executives say the facility will help clients around the world accelerate digital transformation projects by offering specialized resources and expertise directly from India.
This development reflects ongoing growth in India’s tech industry, as companies continue to expand physical R&D centers and innovation hubs across the country.
